Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, kind, and full of potential. They love to explore big ideas like fairness, taking care of the Earth, and learning about people who are different from them. What makes them special is how much they care about each other and the world around them.

This project will help me create an ocean-themed classroom that feels safe, calm, and exciting.

The decorations will help set the mood for our lessons on climate, the environment, and how everything is connected. When students walk into a classroom that feels like a fun and welcoming space, they’re more excited to learn.

The glue sticks and laminating sheets will help us create learning materials and classroom visuals that last all year. We’ll use them for student projects that highlight racial justice, representation, and protecting the planet. These supplies will help my students take pride in their work and stay engaged in hands-on learning.

Thank you for helping us make our classroom a space where students feel seen, heard, and inspired to make a difference.
