Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn. They thrive in an environment that encourages movement, collaboration, and hands-on exploration. To foster their love of learning, I want to provide flexible seating options and engaging toys that support both their academic and social development.
The Need:
Traditional seating can be limiting, especially for young learners who benefit from movement. Flexible seating—such as wobble stools, floor cushions, and balance balls—will allow my students to choose seating that helps them focus and stay engaged. Additionally, interactive toys and learning games will encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, making our classroom a place of discovery and joy.
