Creating a Cozy, Inclusive Space for All Learners!
Help me give my students a cozy place to give all learners, especially those with sensory needs, a place to engage in whole group, small group, and partner work.
Our Inclusion classroom is a vibrant, diverse community where every child is valued and supported. We're hoping to add soft, welcoming rugs to help create calm, comfortable spaces for students to gather, learn, and grow together.
These rugs will give all learners—especially those with sensory needs—a cozy place to engage in whole group lessons, partner work, and quiet reflection.
Throughout the day, we are constantly moving and rotating within the classroom. Parallel teaching allows for small-group, modified instruction to allow students to learn based on their abilities. Our students love to relax on the rugs in our classroom. The rugs have lived their life and are no longer usable.
