Creating a Cozy Corner for Students to Take Brain Breaks

My Project

This summer, our school will be closing due to chronic under enrollment. As teachers, we are trying to give our students the best possible final year. I am asking for your help to liven up my classroom.

This project will provide all the necessary items for a safe space for students to take breaks during class.

By providing some bean bag chairs, floor pillows, lamps, and warm lighting, students should be able to relax better. Many of them have said that the harsh, florescent lights give them headaches, so it should benefit the whole classroom!

I also have included some games for students to play. Many of them are math based, as I teach math and physics. I want to show students that problem solving, strategy, and play are all great ways to engage their brains and learn!
