it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My third graders are a compassionate, curious, and diverse group of learners. They thrive in a supportive environment where they feel safe to express themselves, collaborate, and grow. Each student brings a unique perspective, and my goal is to provide them with the tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
I am requesting a classroom rug, social-emotional learning literature, discussion cards, playdough, and a revolving display media cabinet to create a welcoming and organized space for community-building and emotional growth.
The classroom rug will serve as a gathering place for daily discussions and lessons that build a strong classroom community. Social-emotional learning books and discussion cards will help guide meaningful conversations about emotions, relationships, and problem-solving. Playdough will provide a hands-on tool for self-regulation and creativity, offering students a calming sensory experience. The revolving display media cabinet will keep these essential materials organized and accessible, encouraging independent learning and engagement.
These resources will help my students develop emotional intelligence, communication skills, and confidence. My goal is to create an environment where students feel valued, understood, and empowered to navigate challenges. By supporting this project, you are helping foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive learning space for my incredible third graders. Thank you for making a difference!
