Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I will be teaching first grade and my goal is to make reading fun and inviting. These items will help me do just that.

First grade is the year that many students learn how to read and I want to make sure my students have a comfy and colorful spot in the classroom to practice their reading.

With your help, I can do this by creating a colorful, comfy, fun, and inviting reading area in my classroom next to my classroom library.

I will use the colorful stools at my kidney table for small group reading instruction. The floor cushions, carpet, and bean bag chair will provide my students with comfy, flexible seating. Your donations will be greatly appreciated!
