My Project

My students are full of energy, creativity, and resilience. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring so much personality and potential into the classroom each day. What makes them special is their willingness to learn and grow, even when they face challenges. As a first-year teacher and proud Fort Valley State University alumna, I want to make sure every child feels seen, supported, and excited to come to school.

My classroom supply list is thoughtfully curated to create an organized, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

The organizational tools, such as Post-it Wall Easel Pads, laminating pouches, hanging file folders, and a storage organizer box, will help keep materials and student work neatly stored and easily accessible. These tools also allow me to create reusable anchor charts and visual aids that reinforce key lessons. A visual timer and voice level chart will support classroom management by helping students develop self-regulation skills and stay focused during transitions and tasks.

To ensure every student has the tools they need for success, I’ve included basic supplies like scissors, pencils, glue sticks, and erasers. These materials are essential for classwork, projects, and day-to-day learning activities. I’ve also selected academic posters and learning tools that cover language arts, math, phonics, cursive writing, Earth science, and civics. These visual aids will be displayed throughout the classroom to reinforce content and support different learning styles.

Additionally, the classroom décor items, such as the boho calendar pocket chart, affirmation station, birthday chart, alphabet and number cards, and pastel border trims, are more than just decorations they’re functional teaching aids that bring structure, inclusivity, and warmth to the space. Every item in this cart plays a role in building a classroom environment where students feel empowered to learn and grow.
