Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a 3rd grade teacher teaching at a Title 1 School. I currently have a class of 23 with a student population that includes English Language Learners, Special Education needs, and of course Covid-19 effects.

My students love to work in all areas of the room that suit them.

I have requested special seating to help my students learn at their best. They can be comfortable on the floor while learning about force and motion, or drilling each other on multiplication facts.

This year, my kiddos love to read. Adding to my library has been a need of mine, this allows me to have that wish granted, and add additional titles that my students are interested in to continue to foster that love for reading.

I have added some classroom games to help my students engage with each other, and for those days that we are stuck inside with no recess! Building bonds through playing really helps with their problem solving skills.

Thank you for your consideration and helping out with my classroom, and making my room a place that my students love to learn in.
