My Project

As a 4th grade teacher, I know how important it is to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, seen, and excited to learn. This year, I’m working to revamp our classroom library to create a cozy, calm space where students can relax, enjoy reading, and truly fall in love with books.

I also want to update our collection with more inclusive and diverse titles—books that reflect the wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities in my classroom.

It’s important that every student sees themselves represented in the stories they read and feels that their voice matters.

Alongside this library makeover, I’m also refreshing our math manipulatives. These hands-on tools are essential for helping 4th graders understand abstract concepts in a fun and engaging way, building their confidence and deepening their understanding of math.
