Creating a Calm & Fun Classroom for My First-Year Students

Help me give my students basic classroom supplies to create a calm, welcoming, and fun environment where they can thrive. As a first-year teacher at a Title I school, these resources are essential.

My Project

As a first-year teacher at a Title I school, my students have been working with limited supplies all year. We're currently scavenging for materials, and many have been sharing or getting by with just a few crayons. I want to provide them with better materials so they can create fun, engaging projects, something we couldn’t do much of at the start due to lack of supplies. Most of these materials are for them to fuel their creativity and imagination, which they've shown a lot of potential for! For my classroom’s camping theme, I also need to replace a broken tent that helps create a fun, cozy environment (also their favorite thing!). These supplies will help us finish the year strong and give my students the creative experiences they deserve.
