Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials (aluminum tripod easel, charcoal pencils, sticks, black erasers, Blick gloss fixative, Bristol pads, etc.) will allow my students to have a well-equipped art studio where they can bring their imagination to life. I hope to create a program where students feel safe and welcome. As my student create art, they will collaborate and share their vision of the world around them.
Art provides students the opportunity to further develop their brains, self-esteem, and creativity!
It serves as a way of communication. Our students may express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions through their art, as it may be difficult for some of them to express with words. They will get the chance to make decisions and to learn from the experience of making choices about their artwork.
