This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are motivated when they have the ability to be creative and have a voice in the projects we do. Students will use these art supplies to design and create "donatable items".
My project consists of materials that will help create their chosen "donation creation" and help students to learn about volunteer service and fundraising for our school and community.
Students will be in charge of each step of the process with gentle guidance from me. Not only will this project provide a unique and engaging learning experience, but it will allow my students to learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and the importance of giving back to the community.
**This project is combined with our "Create to Donate" Campaign where students are taught financial literacy through understanding how to budget and manage money**
