it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a teacher at a public school in Milwaukee, working with 35 first-grade students. I deeply admire the effort each of them puts in every day to reach grade-level reading skills. However, keeping their enthusiasm for learning alive can be a constant challenge.
Having a Cricut Maker in the classroom could truly transform students' learning experience.
This tool allows students to engage in creative, hands-on activities like designing personalized t-shirt labels, stickers, and notebook or book tags. These projects not only encourage self-expression but also strengthen students' connection to the learning process.
For young children, learning needs to be visual, tangible, and fun. Seeing their own creations decorating their school supplies, water bottles, or even their clothing gives them a sense of pride and belonging. It reinforces the value of their efforts and increases their motivation to actively participate in class.
The Cricut Maker doesn’t just beautify the classroom—it turns learning into a meaningful, personalized, and exciting experience for each of my students.
