My Project

Students learn and cope in different ways, which includes art and play. With students back to face-to-face learning, I want them to thrive in the classroom and out on the playground. We encourage each other and celebrate our little wins.

Most of my students have transitioned well back into the classroom and I want to continue supporting their social emotional learning.

Through art, I want to maintain their well-being by having a variety of art materials available for the students to utilize. They will be able to use canvas, paint, and colored pens. While at recess, my students will benefit from activities like mini bowling, hopscotch, swing and catch cups, step balance steps, agility ladder, wrist ribbons, skip ball ankle toy, and sensory balls. During indoor recess, my students will be able to use magnetic letters, Legos, or doodle boards. Throughout the school year, students need tangible incentives to work towards, so fidget items are excellent for this purpose. To keep recess equipment organized, my students will have a cart. My students are amazing, and this project will only help enrich their social and emotional well-being.
