This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is all about bringing creativity, engagement, and hands-on learning into our classroom with the help of a Cricut machine. As an elementary teacher, I’m always looking for ways to make lessons more meaningful and accessible for all my students—especially those who thrive with visual and tactile learning. With a Cricut, we’ll be able to create custom learning materials such as interactive word walls, visual supports, student name tags, behavior charts, flashcards, and so much more. It will also allow students to take ownership of their learning by designing their own book covers, science posters, and cultural projects that reflect their identities and ideas.

For students who may not have access to art supplies or creative outlets at home, this tool will open up new opportunities for self-expression and confidence.

A Cricut machine will not only enhance academic learning—it will help us build a more inclusive, personalized, and joyful classroom community.
