it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Remember you first project that you were most proud of? My student produce wonderful work, and now we need a way to save and preserve all the work that we do!
I am lucky to teach twelve wonderful special education kindergrtners with many different needs.
Most of my students are visual, hands-on learners, that require individual materials to meet their needs! My self-contained special education class is located within a poverty stricken school, so it is difficult to save our work without a laminator! Most of these children come from low-income families, so it is very important to me to be able to preserve their work!
My Project
Our classroom needs a laminator, laminating sheets, and Velcro so that we can CREATE & LAMINATE! With a laminator, we will be able to save and preserve all of our work. We would really like the laminator to save the special work that our students create! A laminator, laminating sheets, and Velcro will give us the opportunity to create individual task sheets, schedules, etc. Laminators can be used to create whole group books, as well as create dry erase surfaces to practice our handwriting skills, as well as math! Due to the budget cuts, many of my materials in my classroom are handmade, and a laminator will help keep these materials strong and durable for years to come!
My kids absolutely need this laminator, laminating sheets, and Velcro in order to succeed!
With this project fully funded I will be able to help them and their individual needs with task creating schedules and preserve their beautiful work!
