This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year our 9th grade Introduction to Art students explore art making in its various contexts. One unit is about how artists use printmaking as a way to reach the public. After learning about the art already made, we help them create an original artwork, that expresses their own vision for a world they want to live in.

Not only printmaking but creating visual puns using paper mache and casting material to cast hands for a project too.

As you can see, the cost of these rubber blocks adds up, especially when you teach 4 classes of up to 35 students!

Thus, when you contribute to our unit, I can assure you that our young citizens will be given all of the above and beyond! Many thanks.
