This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have lots of energy and they like to be challenged. They love to do hands on activities and they especially look forward to doing class projects. We are a Title 1 school in a low-income community and almost all of our students qualify for free lunch and breakfast.

My first graders are eager to learn and they love to be creative.

My Project

Having a reliable and functioning printer will be a great addition to our classroom. With the limitations of being able to share supplies or materials this year, everything has to be individualized. The all-in-one laser printer will allow me to give students their own materials for centers, remedial tools, or enrichment activities.

Having a printer in class will also allow my first grade students to print their stories and their drawings.

They will be able to publish and display their creations in class as well as to share them with their families. Your help with this project will make it possible for our students to become little authors and motivate them as they continue to learn how to be the very best writers they can be.
