My Students

My students have been subjected to constant changes with COVID-19 with missing school due to quarantine, seeing their friends have to quarantine, wearing masks now vs no masks at the beginning of the year, etc. I have really been trying to make kindergarten the most positive experience that I can despite all the changes!

They have been resilient and enthusiastic about school and they make me excited to come and teach them every day.

They love stories, dancing to GoNoodle and having time to play and be silly! They are hard workers and excited about learing.

My Project

I would love to have some musical instruments to use in class to help with phonics and for songs in the morning during calendar! I also work at an art integration school so any art supplies would be very much used by my students! We do different art projects every week that goes with our curriculum. In addition we would love picture books and easy readers for our classroom to help the kids further develop their reading and literacy skills so they can be prepared to go into first grade next year.
