This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will be able to create their own civilization as a culminating project for social studies. Rather than just doing research and learning about other ancient civilizations, students will have the opportunity to be creative and incorporate the various factors of a civilizations they have learned throughout the year such as geography, religion, achievements, politics, economics and social structure.
After analyzing and creating an outline of their civilization, students will be able to create a trip-fold to show all the aspects of their civilization for our open house night where parents will be able to come and see their children's creativity come to life.
