This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fifth graders are going to be doing a lot of research this upcoming year. These research projects are interest-based and self-directed. They will conduct research using digital materials. These two laptops will give my students access to information on their topic. Not every child has a working device. Some students have a device without a keyboard. Students will be using these laptops to write their research papers and then they will create a presentation using google slides. The laptops will allow students who do not have a device or a working keyboard to finish their projects.
