My Students

My classroom of fourth graders are enthusiastic, creative, respectful, and eager students. They are excited to come to the classroom and engage themselves in an inviting classroom. My students learn best through experiential learning, student-focused lessons, and student-driven discussions. I have many students that have a desire to further what they are learning in the classroom and a desire to try new things.

My students love learning in different ways and the internet is a great way to further and broaden their learning.

Students these days are more interested in using technology to learn.I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

With these new Chromebooks, more of my students will be able to access educational programs such as MobyMax, XtraMath, Khan Academy, ZEARN and prodigy, which are programs designed to help students on their individual levels. These types of programs often help close gaps in learning for students who are performing below grade level and provide challenges for students performing above grade level. These additional materials will also allow more students to access technology when completing grade-appropriate research or web-based and computer-based projects that are often not attempted due to the limited quantity of computers. Having more technology in the classroom will help students get excited about and engaged in their learning. It will help them have positive attitudes toward school and have the desire to be lifelong learners. Thank you very much for any and all donations to our classroom!
