Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach students with mild/moderate disabilities. My students struggle with math and require a lot of manipulatives. My students work very hard and take pride in their everyday achievements at school. My students want to be successful in math and love it when we have fun manipulatives and games that go with our lesson.
These games and manipulatives will help my students build their knowledge in math and will help them reach their yearly goals.
In my class, students learn through visuals, models, hands-on activities, manipulatives, and games. The storybooks will be a great addition to my classroom to help get students ready for math as an opener. Please help my students get these amazing resources to continue their love for math.
