Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been learning about insects this month and I can’t even tell you how much insect knowledge their little brains have taken in, in such a short time. Now that we know how insects help us and how important they are we no longer have fear towards them. Learning about insects have helped my students to be gentle and respectful to the smaller things around them.

Being able to receive the Forensic Insect Identification Cards will help answer all of the curious questions that my students have on their minds.

My students are awesome! I love teaching them and watching them learn through books, toys, hands on activities and through nature. There’s nothing better to see a smile on a child’s face!
