My Project

One of education's recent initiatives involves creating pathways to professions as early as elementary school. This is why my project is important and relevant to the needs of our students. Our elementary school has a media focus but lacks the materials and resources to support the effort. This project would expose students to photography and all related careers and opportunities. There was a recent opportunity for our students to shadow the high school media team to record and photograph scenes at the varsity basketball game. The students learned a lot and expressed a desire to learn more. This led to a conversation discussion about the different careers and opportunities. Our students would benefit immensely now and later from this donation.
