Crayons & Tissues & Tape, Oh My!

Help me give my students basic classroom supplies of crayons, pencil boxes, tissues, hand sanitizer, etc. to support them in their learning environment.

My Project

The items I am requesting for my students will be used daily in our classroom! We have 31 kiddos in our room and space is very limited, the carpet tape would help us outline our desks and make sure there is a visual marker for the students to help keep their desks in order and stay in their area. My 6 and 7 year olds are learning the importance of boundaries and space and the carpet tape would definitely help support this. We love our arts and crafts in room 206! They not only allow for creativity and exploration, they encourage fine motor and writing skills as well. My students reach for the art buckets any chance they get, so our crayon supply is in need of replenishment! We are also teaching our scholars that it's important to be organized so we can take good care of our things and find them easily in our desk. So the crayon boxes will be very useful for them and help them stay organized. It's cold and flu season and we are running through our tissue boxes very quickly. We sure do have a lot of sniffy noses in First Grade!

Crooked desks, broken crayons, and runny noses might not seem like a big deal to us adults, but its factors and materials like these that can have an impact on a student's day at school.

These specific supplies listed and more will help our classroom function smoothly and allow for my students to focus their attention on their education (and not be distracted by their runny nose). Providing these supplies will help set my students up for success and help meet their needs in the classroom!
