This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very special, kindergarteners in a high needs area of a borough in New York. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. Most of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch and come to school every day eager to learn.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!
My Project
We are going through crayons very quickly in my classroom this year. My students need crayons for the classroom and also colors to take home to continue their creativity within their lives wherever they go. Help my students show their inner creativity by helping supply them with new crayons and journals. Some students are not able to join in on the creativity due to lack of materials. With Covid, it is difficult for students to share tools in the classroom.
Crayons are also used to enhance learning, which can be possible with your help.
