My students are very creative and would love to be able to create projects while learning Italian. The projects are simple but it gives them the opportunity to dream and develop an understanding of Italian by doing something they love. After they draw, they get the opportunity to write and explain their project in Italian. I have found that students are much more attentive to what happens in class when they have presented an art project.
Their drawing is so special that they put much more effort into the explanation of it, even if the language used is Italian.
They go above and beyond to explain what they drew. This expands not only their creativity but helps them be able to do research to express themselves in a new language. This is so enriching for their future. It makes them love the class and pursue the will to learn Italian because it is associated with something they like: drawing.
My Project
This is the second set of colors needed for my students, with pencils. I had forgotten to add those in the previous Donors Choice so I hope it is not to much to add for my students.
Thanks to the kind donations we got the pencils now we would like to add the Washable markers and black pencils because we forgot them in the previous donation, so please give just a little more and we will be all set.
You already made us so happy, but we still need this little extra so that students can feel that we think of them, this will help them, having materials so that they can have a choice of what to do art with is important, you little donation today can make a difference in every day school life of our kids. This will make a difference in our tomorrow, since our students are our future.
