This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Kindergarten superstars have shown resilience, perseverance and flexibility during this unprecedented school year. My Bronx students have found ways to make friends and be kind even when our masks hide our smiles. Missing out on things like field trips, recess, playground time and hands-on activities due to Covid 19 -related restrictions has been tough, but my students have found laughter and fun in different ways! I am so proud of their hard work while they are in the building and while they are working from home.
My Project
Our Kindergarteners have missed out on so much due to Covid related precautions. Even simple trips to the playground are not permitted. When I saw an opportunity for a (virtual) trip to the Crayola Factory I knew I couldn't pass it up! The students will each receive a kit of goodies to experience all Crayola has to offer while taking a guided tour through the factory to be watched in the classroom.
Please help me make this year a memorable one -and fill it with great memories and experiences!
