My Project
Tunnels are very important in the world of PE. Exploring using tunnels helps children in many ways. They will work on developing their gross motor skills. They will also develop their coordination by using their arms and legs at the same time. Body awareness is a big ticket item as they will need to focus on their body in a certain amount of space.
All that being said, it's really fun!
Every child in my school, from kindergarten to 5th graders, everyone walks in and sees a tunnel and gets super excited. I had a tunnel, but it was so small ,my bigger kids (age and size) would get stuck. Then, it isn't so fun for them. This tunnel will let EVERYONE have a great experience in PE.
