My Students
I have the great fortune to teach and coach at my high school in Chicago, Illinois. We are a diverse, high school located in Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood. I want to ensure that my students have every opportunity to make the most of their high school experience safely and enjoyably.
My Project
For our Mather Cheerleaders to compete against their peers, they must learn and master jumps, stunts, and tumbling safely. Right now, we only have tile floors to practice on.
Help me provide my 'eager to learn' cheerleaders a SAFE way to master necessary skills and techniques to allow them to compete.
Having little space to practice with no safety equipment, my brand new, eager team is frustrated that we cannot take our learning to the next level.
