My Students
I have the best students in the world. Our Academy is a wonderfully diverse school representing southern California. We are known for our amazing performances and the beautiful things that we make but what people don't think about, is our amazing science department. We are the top scorers in the district and we can do so much better. By providing students with hands on experiences, we can make science apply to their lives and other classes. We believe in a hands on minds on approach and so do the kids. I want this year to be the best year they have ever had and this experiment type will get that job done.
My Project
I want my students to learn to use cars to develop egg car labs and rocket eggs later on. We use these cars so that students can figure out what seat belts are for, why cars are so dangerous and what can be done to make them safer. Students use these cars to help them develop labs and experiments on their own. Some students use the information to make a rocket that can save an egg and all students use the data to make an egg car which rolls down a big hill and smashes into a brick. The car must save the egg. BTW the egg is Freggy Mercury
