CRAPES are good to eat, but CRATES are even better!
My students need 35 new storage crates to keep their materials and books neat and organized in the classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Drase's classroom raised $300
This project is fully funded
I teach a very energetic group of 8th grade students. Although I teach at a magnet school in the city, the school draws kids from all socioeconomic backgrounds. My classroom of students are a perfect subset of the school at large.
We are limited on storage space in my classroom! I have thirty five students who sit at eight tables and three desks. Keeping their materials neat and organized can be tough! The students have to store their books on the floor next to their seat because there isn't any other space to put it. Although this can be done by storing books on the floor, the classroom can get very cluttered and very disorganized.
In order to improve our organizational skills, the students need crates to minimize clutter. These crates will provide an individual storage unit for each student. Students can decorate their crate in order to differentiate it from other students. Thus, they will know where there books are every time they need them.
Like I said, my students are very energetic. They don't exactly understand the importance of organization and tidiness. Books often get misplaced, notebooks get put in the wrong spot, and papers get lost. By donating crates to my classroom, you will be providing my students a way to stay organized. Although I remind them every day how important it is to keep a clean classroom, I can see how hard it is for them to do this without adequate storage space. You will make it possible for them! Thank you!
