This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a small charter school with a focus on art integration. My students are eager, independent, and thrive on a curriculum that engages them creatively.

I am always on the lookout for tools that engage the children's high energy and exuberant imagination.

In addition, the diecut tool that I am seeking funding for will allow the children to be shakers and change-makers at a young age. Because of its user-friendly mechanism and extreme versatility, the Big Shot Plus will allow kindergartners to be sending clear messages, expressing opinions and raising awareness regarding matters that are real and important to them. They can participate in service learning and community service by expressing their opinion and creating aesthetically pleasing artwork.

As a teacher in a small town New Mexico, I serve families with a variety of backgrounds. The diecut machine will create countless opportunities for combining the creative use of technology, service learning opportunities and hands-on projects in my classroom.

My Project

Children love to express who they are and what they think. Advocating for causes that are vital to them at an early age right in their classroom environment can make a great difference in their identities as thoughtful, conscious community members .

This kid-friendly die-cutting tool offers that enormous gratification of five year old kindergartners' voice being heard and their art being seen by the larger community.

The easy-to-use die-cut letters allow children to be in the author's chair by building words, stories, and messages in a big, bright and fast fashion. The abundance of die-cut imagery also lets a child's creativity bloom. And it can do all that with a polished look in a matter of minutes! It sure seems like a formula for confidence, success and satisfaction for a five-year old!
