My Project
My students love crafting, designing, and creating, especially with my Cricut. I am happy to bring my machine in for their use, but the materials are expensive and add up quickly.
With your support, my students will have more supplies available and will be able to make more things as gifts for their friends and family members.
Many of my students are low-income and don't have the resources to do the kinds of things that I do with them.
We tend to do lots of crafting throughout the year to give them hands-on learning experiences as much as possible. My students learn best when they see how their learning applies to real-world experiences. When crafting, I can incorporate several math skills and critical thinking skills, challenging them to learn to think outside of the box. I love seeing the wheels spinning as they come up with solutions and new ideas for what they are making.
