Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Arts and crafts are engaging activities for nearly all students. My first graders are eager to create things like leprechaun traps or gifts for special occasions like Mother’s Day. They are excited and love participating in these creative projects. I would love to have this safe tool for my students between the ages of 6 and 7.
This project will help my students safely cut and recreate patterns from cardstock to cardboard.
Having this tool in our classroom will encourage hands-on learning and increase engagement in critical thinking and creativity.
