Crafting Our Way into Emotional Wellness

Help me give my students markers, book marks, and emoji beach balls so they can better express themselves and their emotions.

My Students

My classroom is filled with curious and diverse young learners who love to learn. My students are kind and love to collaborate and problem-solve as they engage in active learning.

Each day with my students brings new adventures and new experiences which we explore together.

It is my goal as a teacher to further extend the love of learning to my students so they are able to not only have successful academic careers​ but achieve their own personal goals and dreams.

My Project

This school year has been particularly stressful for students, parents, and teachers. Added into this stress is the high stakes testing that our 3rd grade students will soon begin in the coming weeks.

We would like to take some time away from this added stress to address students' social-emotional well being while allowing them to express themselves through crafts and STEM based projects.

Students will be able to express their feelings with the help of the emoji beach balls. Students will also be able to express their feelings and themselves as individuals with the markers and scratch-off bookmarks while letting their creative juices flow!
