My Project
My students are in the second half of the school year and getting very low on basic supplies like pencils and crayons. We desperately need these tools to continue this school year without having to worry and stress about not having good pencils (with erasers).
My students have gotten more excited about drawing and learned that I have 'people colored crayons' and have been excitedly using them to make drawings that look like them, but I don't have enough crayons for everyone.
I would like to be able to give them their own 'people crayons' so they have them close by to be able to create their masterpieces.
My students are also low income and struggle with food insecurity. They are also HIGHLY motivated by food with rewards. I avoid candy but they are excited about crackers, chips, fruit snacks, etc. So, I would like your help in providing some of those things to them. Some of my students get snacks for the weekends or on early dismissal days to help their bellies stay full until parents get home. A lot of my students enjoy getting snacks as rewards for doing well in their math practice or other incentive times.
