My students need craft paper, scissors, pom-poms, art tissue paper, and other supplies to help them create and show the knowledge they have gained on a topic. For example, creating landforms.

My Students
I have a class that is hungry for knowledge. Many of my students are struggling with a language barrier or a learning disability. My students need more of a hands on learning style when learning new topics. Being able to use art to increase learning would benefits my students greatly.
Our class, like our school, has a very diverse popular.
We have many different languages spoken. Our student family incomes range for poverty levels up to high middle class. The size of families also range from single parents to extended families. All of these difference make our students unique individuals. This means I try to make learning individualized as well. Using visual art, creating models, student presentations, and other various projects gives my students different ways to learn and express what they have learned. It also gives me a better understanding of their comprehension on a topic. My students are eager to learn despite the challenges they face every day. I enjoy that they will put in their full effort for any task I give them.
My Project
Students will use the materials such as craft paper, foam, and magnets to create a magnet used to test objects to figure out what types of items are magnetic and what they have in common. We will use the picture frames to capture their achieve that a student wants to share with parents. Some of the art supplies will be used to create an images of the landforms they need to learn. Students will use creating scissors, goggly eyes, art tissue paper, pom-poms, foil paper, and many other supplies to show the knowledge they have gained on a subject or to enhance a class presentation. These projects and many more will be done with the help of art supplies.
Art supplies are expensive.
Most art supply money comes out of my one pocket, this limits the amount and type of supplies I can give my students to use. Donations for this will help my class learn more effectively by giving them a chance to express their ideas in a more vivid way.
