My Project
"Crafting Inclusive Success: Enhancing Special Education Through Custom Cricut Creations" is a project designed to integrate the use of a Cricut machine into special education classrooms. The goal is to create personalized, tactile learning materials that cater to the diverse needs of students with disabilities. By using the Cricut to produce custom visuals, manipulatives, and interactive tools, students can engage with their lessons in a hands-on way, improving retention and increasing engagement.
The primary goal is to address the diverse learning challenges of special education students, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles.
The Cricut will help create resources like task boards, flashcards, and visual aids, allowing for differentiation and individualized learning. This will foster an inclusive environment where each student can access materials that support their specific learning needs.
Throughout the school year, teachers and students will collaborate in designing and creating educational tools using the Cricut. This active participation will give students a sense of ownership in their learning, empowering them to succeed and thrive in a creative, supportive classroom environment.
