it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Making flower frogs aligns perfectly with our current curriculum on plant structure and growing plants indoors. As my students craft their own flower frogs, they deepen their understanding of plant care, while engaging in a creative process that strengthens their fine motor skills.
Their curiosity and eagerness to explore allow them to connect the art of flower arrangement with the science of plant growth; this hands-on project fosters teamwork, problem-solving, and artistic expression, while also helping them take pride in both their creations and the plants they nurture in the classroom.
By creating their own flower frogs, students get to discover their artistic expression and experience the satisfaction of making something both functional and beautiful, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment while bringing their imaginative ideas to life.
