This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a printer, paper, snacks, and fidget toys for my students that are on the autistic spectrum in order to have a better classroom experience. My students will benefit from having a printer as I’ve been mainly using whiteboards to cover assignments and my students need to work on assignments using paper and pencil. Using paper and pencil will help promote fine motor skills. My kids are extremely talented in terms of the arts and can build just about anything from Play-Doh. I want them to expand their creativity and cooperative group skills by using magnatiles. I also want to encourage creativity by giving them different Play-Doh color options. On top of that, my children lack snack options and being that they have autism, they naturally struggle to try new things. These snacks are all things they enjoy eating and have asked for.
