This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting a variety of crafting tools such as rotary cutters, replacement blades, and Cricut accessories. These items are helpful in the art room for a collection of different art experiences and crafting projects. We find crafting to be very relaxing and helps students with their Social Emotional Learning, as a strategy to help calm them. Kiddos really enjoy the action of using these tools too. The process then leads the projects for many of my art students and it is fun to see what they come up with after experimenting. The satisfaction they feel using these items then translate to more confidence in their art and craft time. They discover creative, productive hobby for a lifetime of joyous creating.
