This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! My hope is to provide them with the tools and skills necessary to inspire and motivate. They love hands-on, active, engaging projects and books that allow them to think about the world around them! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

My Project

I've noticed students not coming to school with socks on. Most do not have gloves and believe it or not it can get chilly in Los Angeles in the winter. Most apartments are also not insulated. I am hoping to give children cozy socks and gloves to stay warm.

I purchase countless disinfecting wipes to clean the room.

It makes students feel safe to clean their desks daily.

I have sanitary products for students as needed. It would be an enormous help to have these on hand when students need them.
