Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will allow students to comfortably read Black History books and other books. These books can be taken home to help build their personal libraries. Though students are relying on technology for literacy, students still enjoy holding physical books.
The flexible seats with cushions will allow students to sit comfortably and read.
We want to continue to encourage a love for reading, so I want to provide various ways for them to read. The flexible seats will allow students to sit in spaces throughout the classroom that are most comfortable for them while they read.
