My students have a passion for reading. The current choice books they have in my classroom library, unfortunately, were cut in half in past years due to the books being sent home to my virtual students.
These books will make a huge impact on these students because they have specifically requested these titles to be added to our bookshelves.
If they are requesting the books, it is guaranteed that they won't be staying on the shelves long!
I want to see the excitement in their eyes when they are able to choose to read a book that interests them and give them the empowerment to keep forging ahead. I may only teach 6th grade, but I have former students coming to check out books from my library, as well as many future students who have heard from their older siblings and will pop their heads into my classroom to see if they can check some out, too!
Students will be able to check out books from my library to read in their free time and when they finish their work early. Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunity to read.
The seat cushions will help make our flexible seating options even more cozy while we read our new novels.
