it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The couch will create a welcoming, comfortable space where students can focus and collaborate effectively. It will serve as a hub for small group discussions, independent reading, and creative thinking. By offering a cozy and inviting environment, the couch will help reduce stress, foster a sense of belonging, and encourage students to engage more deeply in their learning activities.
The primary goal is to provide a comfortable, student-centered learning environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and engagement.
The couch will be a versatile addition to the classroom, supporting various learning activities like reading, brainstorming, and peer mentoring. By creating a more inclusive and inspiring space, I hope to boost student morale and motivation, helping them reach their full potential.
My students are a resilient, curious, and diverse group of learners who bring unique perspectives and talents to our classroom. Despite challenges they may face, they consistently show determination and a desire to grow academically and personally. Their creativity and willingness to support one another make them a joy to teach, and they deserve a learning environment that reflects their exceptional qualities. The couch will provide them with a space that feels like home, honoring their individuality and fostering their success.
