My Students
My kindergarten students are very eager to learn. My school is a Title I school where over 50% of the kids receive free or reduced price lunches. These kids come from very diverse homes and many of them are English language learners.
My students meet me each day with enthusiasm wanting to know what the school day holds for them.
They are always ready to learn new skills and concepts, explore through hands-on learning, and meet their full potential daily!
My Project
Who likes to snuggle up with a good book? My students need an area where they can get lost in a book and collaborate with peers. I find that this generation of students are constantly behind a computer.
Giving these students an area to sit on, Color Rings Rug, with a real book can open up a world of opportunities through literature, stories, and texts.
By donating to our project you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement by encouraging their love of reading.
I know my students will love to having a comfy space of their own while they explore and learn.
