My Project
I have always provided my classes with lots of various choices for alternative seating and have designed a home-like environment to maximize student growth so that a more natural way of learning can occur.
Allowing students to choose where they sit and learn in the classroom enables them to feel in control of their education.
It empowers students to think about how they learn best and urges them to be more strategic with their choices.
These types of choices in a library, I believe, are even more important. When trying to instill a love of reading comfort is to be a consideration! This rocking chair will be used at our meeting area for read alouds and then as a cozy reading spot. This type of environment is good for everyone's mental health.
