it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we believe that creating the right environment is key to helping students develop a love for reading and writing. That’s why we’re requesting a faux fur saucer chair to transform our literacy corner into a cozy, inviting space where students can relax and focus on their books and stories.
This chair will provide students with a special spot to curl up with a chapter book during independent reading time or draft their writing assignments in comfort.
For many students, a change of scenery and a comfortable seat can spark new motivation and make literacy activities feel less like work and more like an adventure.
By adding this chair to our classroom, we’re encouraging students to see reading as something to enjoy, not just an assignment to complete. With your support, we can inspire our young readers and writers to immerse themselves in stories, strengthen their literacy skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
